In eight previous Cup races at Watkins Glen, Harvick has one win (in 2006), two top-five and five top-10 finishes. Robby Gordon scored Richard Childress Racing's only other Cup victory at The Glen, in 2003.
Harvick is starting 21st this weekend. It's the first time in his Cup career that the California native has began a race at Watkins Glen lower than 13th place.
